Show Notes

When Clara Brown was 12, she was a competitive gymnast. A serious accident and a spinal cord injury paralyzed her from the neck and put an end to her gymnastics career.  Luckily the injury was incomplete meaning that through hard work and perseverance Clara has been able to regain a lot of her mobility and today she is back as a competitive para cyclist for Team USA and getting ready for the Tokyo olympics in August 2021. Listen to Clara tell about her journey from the accident until today, how she is riding a modified road bike and how she is working hard to introduce children and schools to cycling and the benefits of it.
